Presbyterian 

The Elkins Presbyterian Church forms the Presbyterian denomination of Elkins Community Church. With support from community leaders and traveling pastors, Andrew and John Buchanan, the Presbyterians actively helped form the Elkins Community Church in 1831.

Today, the Presbyterian denomination supports several ministries in Arkansas, nationally, and internationally. Some of these ministries include Friends of the Elkins Library, NWA Food Bank, United Campus Ministries, Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Family Services, Austin Presbyterian Seminary, Haiti Education Fund, and Heifer International.

The Elkins Federated Presbyterian Church is associated with the Arkansas Presbytery and the Presbyterian Church (USA). Click the images below for more information.


Methodist

The Elkins United Methodist Church organized some time after the establishment of the Elkins Community Church.
